The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) fosters excellence in education based on the school mission and goals, through an ongoing process of assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring. A. G. Minassian Armenian School utilizes the WASC Focus on Learning process as a tool for meaningful schoolwide self-analysis, improvement, and accountability. Collaboration amongst all stakeholders including teachers, administrators, school board members, students and parents enables the school to identify its needs and develop an action plan for improvement.
In July of 2011, the Accrediting Commission for Schools granted Ari Guiragos Minassian Armenian School a six-year term of accreditation with a mid-term review. The Minassian School has been accredited by WASC since 2005.
